GoFundMe Update - Thank You All!
One month ago today, Isla Rose entered this world. And just as quickly, she slipped away.
Today, we are ready to share our plans to ensure that she will live on to continue to impact this world.
As soon as we found out about our baby girl, we began to dream of the ways she would make waves in this world. Would she be an author? A scientist maybe? Would she travel the world and change it as she goes?
When we learned of her fatal diagnosis, those dreams seemed like they disappeared.
As we began processing our grief, we decided not to let those dreams die with her.
We are so proud to announce our plans for Gifts of Time: The Isla Rose Foundation.
While it is just in its infancy, we have big dreams. There are many holes in the system that families like us can easily fall into, and we hope this will allow us to fill in some of those holes and help families who will walk this path after us.
We cannot thank all of you enough for your unwavering support - both personally and financially. We wouldn’t be able to do this without you.
We want to add a personal massive thank you to Beth and Tony Cothron for putting the Go Fund Me together and making it possible for us to raise money. You both have been there for us since the beginning, through the good and the bad, and there's no way in the world we can thank you enough.
